The grace of God, at the centre of everything.
Hanamel is the Hebrew word for "the grace of God." We are a Christ-centred family in Arua City, believing in the saving and transforming power of His grace in Jesus Christ.
A people transformed by grace.

What We Believe
The unshakable foundation of sound doctrine that guides our faith, worship, and service.
We believe there is one God, who eternally exists in three Persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, co-equal and co-eternal (Matthew 3:16–17; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 4:4–6).
We believe in the divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, sinless life, power to heal, miracles, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, and ascension to the right hand of the Father as our High Priest, Mediator, and Advocate (1 Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 7:24–25; 1 John 2:1–2).
We believe the Holy Spirit is our Helper and Comforter, who sanctifies, leads, and guides believers. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, and the fruit of the Spirit (John 14:26; Acts 2:1–4; 1 Corinthians 12:7–11; Galatians 5:22–23).
We believe the Bible, the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God and the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men; the divine and final authority for all Christian faith (2 Timothy 3:16–17).
We believe man was made in the image of God, but through Adam's disobedience sin and death entered the world. As such, man is in need of a Saviour to be in right standing before God (Romans 5:12; John 14:6; Romans 3:23).
We believe salvation is the gift of God, received by grace alone through faith alone in Christ Jesus alone, and that we are called to take this Good News to all nations (Ephesians 2:8; Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 20:24).
We believe all who call on the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved. If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (John 14:6; Romans 10:9–10, 13).
We believe water baptism is a commandment of our Lord Jesus and an outward expression of faith, identifying the believer with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Acts 8:12; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12).
We believe in the rapture of the Church and the second coming of Christ, and in the final resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the saved to eternal life (Matthew 24:29–30; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 20:11–15).
